Role Description
This is a PRN/part-time or full-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist at Jayhawk Pharmacy & Patient Supply in Topeka, KS. The responsibilities include dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, providing counseling to customers on medication use, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Additional tasks involve collaborating with healthcare providers, managing inventory, and performing routine pharmacy operations to ensure patients receive optimal care. The Staff Pharmacist is also expected to provide excellent customer service and support the pharmacy team in maintaining a smooth workflow.

Qualifications
Strong expertise in prescription verification, medication dispensing, and patient counseling
Proficiency in maintaining pharmacy operations, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and healthcare professionals
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure safe and accurate medication handling
An active pharmacist license in the state of Kansas
Technical proficiency with pharmacy management systems
Experience or knowledge in patient care and customer service is a plus
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
